Nike Speed Development Camp in Mckinney, TX offers athletes aged 9-16 the opportunity to learn

This camp is aimed toward football players and track and field runners. Participants will be introduced to general, intermediate, advanced, and specific training paradigms, as well as strategies to elevate their skill set. Upon completing this Speed Development Camp, each participant will know the difference between frontside and backside mechanics. They will learn drills that will reinforce the proper mechanics to improve their overall performance, force production, and agility designed to translate to football, track, and all sports, regardless of age or skill level.

Team Sport athletes will receive further instruction on Acceleration, Deceleration, Top-End Speed, Change of Direction, Developing and Improving the Rate of Force Production, and components of Multi-Directional Movement to increase performance.

• Participants must complete all eligibiity requirements by May 15, 2026 12:00 PM CDT or incur a $25.00 USD late fee
• Athlete’s age will be based on the age that they will be on Aug 01, 2025

Please keep in mind we can only take 130 Teams For Each Tournament. Tournaments can sell out 3–4 weeks early depending on the time of year. Due to the nature of this tournament, we cannot take schedule requests. IMPORTANT RULE CHANGE: Players may only roster and compete on one team per tournament. Playing on multiple teams or across divisions in the same event will no longer be permitted.

Camps and clinics are run at Gardner-Boggs Field and led by the Baseball Coaching Staff. The Concordia youth baseball camps will consist of learning the fundamentals of the game and applying techniques to improve skills on the diamond. Each camper will have a chance to gain experience in fielding, throwing, and hitting in each camp taught by a collegiate coaching staff and players that have won American Southwest Conference Tournament Championships and reached the NCAA Regionals and Super Regionals. Campers will have a chance to experience a brand-new turf field, new indoor batting cages, a new clubhouse, and an updated camp format. Campers will also participate in scrimmages during the week.

AUSTIN BASEBALL IMPORTANT CAMP INFORMATION

• Each camp will be limited, and campers will be split into groups based on age that will remain consistent for the duration of camp
• Each group will have at least 1 possibly 2 dedicated coaches that will stay with that group for the duration of camp
• Parents/guardians will be allowed to attend camps, but must remain in stands
• Drop-off and picking-up of campers will be in designated areas onl
• All forms/waivers be completed during online registration
• Camp activities will take place outside and in our indoor facilities
• In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be moved indoors
• Water stations will be available to campers at all times
